Benchmark Cribbing is a partner with many different new homebuilders providing cribbing services in and around Calgary. We have been building residential basement foundations for Jayman Homes, one of Alberta's largest quality builders, since 2002. In 2006, we started as a cribbing contractor for Baywest Homes in Calgary, a prestigious, local custom homebuilder, who is famously known as the “Red Pen Builder” – allowing clients flexibility in their home design. In 2013, we partnered as a cribber with Cardel Homes, a North American company with over 40 years of homebuilding experience. We pride ourselves on our quality, professionalism and quick turnaround time. We are results oriented and our focus is our clients’ 100% satisfaction.

Chris Barkey

Being in the cribbing and construction industry for over 30 years gives Owner/Operator Chris Barkey an edge over most competitors. His hands-on experience and sound leadership have been the quintessence of his success. He started JET Cribbing in 2002 and has been providing quality residential basement foundations for Jayman Homes in Calgary ever since.

Joel Robert

Hardworking and dedicated are two words that could be used to describe Owner/Operator Joel Robert. Bringing over 13 years of cribbing experience, he started Square One Foundations in 2005 and built a successful business, providing quality custom basement foundations to Baywest Homes and a number of smaller home builders around the city of Calgary.

At the start of 2014, Square One Foundations and JET Cribbing joined together to form Benchmark Cribbing [and B&B Crane Services]

With over 37 combined years of cribbing experience, their knowledge, expertise, and foresight ensure your project is a complete success. From the initial quoting for your concrete foundation to site cleanup, care is given every step of the process.

Under their direct supervision, Joel and Chris lead crews of experienced, hardworking people who are committed to getting the job done right the first time.
